Well kiddles, I've recently moved house. And with that move came the unearthing of my Wacom tablet and colouring interests. Tie this together with a friend who has recently been experimenting with physical colouring techniques, and you get me trying out a 'gauche' style.

I call it that because I've not studied art a day in my life, and this method of colouring I took straight from watching him paint a picture with the aforementioned paints. So I copied him. And this is how it turned out:

Not the greatest work to grace the screen, and there's lots to fix up. But not bad for mucking about, eh? I really want to get out of the habit of using subtle contrasts and blended shading.

Well, back to the books for me. I want to get into some decent Actionscript before the next year rolls in. Keep it fresh!
